Anger has a positive side also. It is an enormous source of energy. And this Energy can provide us with the power to do things that we may not be able to do under normal circumstances. The question is whether you can channel this energy in a positive direction. For example, we may say that Dr. Martin Luther King was angry about the injustice of segregation, but he mastered to put the energy of anger into a path to fight for human rights. That energy got him further than most before him. But how can you control anger? There are probably many ways to control your anger, but many of them aim to delete anger from one’s life. In my opinion this is a long shot and can be hard to do. Anger is a part of our lives that cannot be separated from the whole. I think it’s best to ask yourself this question; how can I use this energy source for good? Some possibilities are small things like using the energy flow to work on your own health. For example, go out running or other workout that you may like. If you think big there are probably a lot of things in your near environment that you may offer your help to. So my advice to you is to stop looking at anger as something negative and start using it for the greater good. |

Anger. Most people look at anger as something negative. Is Anger just a Negative emotion that can’t lead to anything good? Anger is a state of mind that may show some negative symptoms like feeling bad, having destructive thoughts of yourself or others and so on.

Thank you for this post, this has always been a big issue for me. I´m starting to embrace the anger in me finally. Maybe then it can have positive effects on the life I live.
Anger is just another emotion. If you want to be more human, first feel and then think.
All too often, people are told that emotions such as anger, jealousy, lust, etc. are negative or “bad” emotions. We’re also told that crying is wrong, especially for males. The truth of the matter is that emotions themselves are never wrong; it is the behavior we use to express our emotions that can be dangerous. We as a society need to be careful how we teach our children about emotions. It may be easier to teach them that anger is bad, jealousy is bad, greed is bad. However, we run the risk of raising children who don’t know how to express themselves safely and appropriately and who will continue to hold in their “bad” emotions until they no longer can. And not only might they hold in their “bad” emotions, they may also hold back all emotions, regardless of how those emotions are perceived by society. The more we learn, and teach others, to properly express emotion, the less likely we are to create a world of desensitized, robot-like people.
